University Housing reserves spaces in multiple on-campus buildings to accommodate faculty and staff.
Housing Options
E.S. King Village
- Eligibility: Sophomores, juniors, seniors, graduate students, post-doctoral students, and students with families
- Availability: Studios apartments, one- and two-bedroom apartments and double-occupancy one-bedroom apartments (for undergraduates only)
- Features: Family areas including two playgrounds, garden, laundry
- Furnished: Double-occupancy apartments and graduate studios are furnished. Furniture rental for other apartments are available upon request.
- Location: Gorman Street and Sullivan Drive

Western Manor
- Eligibility: primarily for post-doctoral students and NC State faculty and staff (identified in the HR payroll system as .5 FTE or greater, active Research Scholars, or Postdoctoral)
- Availability: Studios; one- and two-bedroom apartments
- Features: Family and green spaces, convenient to both campuses
- Furnished: No
- Location: Avent Ferry Road
