University Housing sponsors a select group of NC State student leaders to serve as the face of University Housing for on-site summer programs, including camps, conferences, and individual guests. These students, with diverse backgrounds and experiences, must demonstrate excellent customer service, flexibility, student leadership, and NC State pride. Students serving as Summer Conference Ambassadors are responsible for general hospitality services for guests, facilities preparation, key management, outreach and engagement, providing support for non-affiliated university visitors, providing support to programs working with minors, and enforcement of university policies.

The Summer Conference Ambassador program complements the mission of NC State and University Housing through hands-on experiences and outreach opportunities with prospective students, families, and community members while promoting the benefits of living on campus. Due to the nature of the summer conference operation, Summer Conference Ambassadors are required to live on-campus for the duration of the program.

Prior to completing the application, please read the program description and requirements carefully to obtain an understanding of the responsibilities and expectations of the position.

Program Dates: May 17 through August 3, 2021
