Assistant Director for Conference and Guest Services
Lynne Barbour joined the University Housing team in 2007. As the Assistant Director, Lynne’s responsibilities include financial and operational oversight of the Conference and Guest Services office, management of the Campus Life Ambassador program, as well as student staff recruitment, training and professional development.
She serves as Co-Chair of the DASA Professional Development Committee and is a 2016-17 Board Member for the Feed the Pack Food Pantry at NC State.
Lynne received her Master of Arts degree in Facility Management at NC State in 2011. Her research focused on underutilized campus spaces and bridge options for student-centric services on Centennial Campus. She received her Bachelor of Science in Arts and Communications at Ball State University.
Conference and Guest Services Manager
Dylan Morris has served in his role as Conference and Guest Services Manager since 2013. His responsibilities include oversight of NC State Guest Housing Operations at Avent Ferry Complex and Wolf Ridge, coordination of housing and auxiliary campus services for both internal and external camp and conference groups, and development of client relationships. He also represents University Housing as a member of the New Student Programs Advisory Committee. Dylan received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Wake Forest University and has spent his professional career as an advocate for special events within the Raleigh community.
University Housing Ambassador
Caleb is currently a junior studying Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management, and he is planning on pursuing a career in management in the tourism or hospitality industries. Caleb recently served as the Summer Activities Director, and he is looking forward to planning great events for the academic residents at NC State. When not working or studying Caleb enjoys staying active through playing club intramural sports.
Asia Serrano is a 5th-year student at North Carolina State University majoring in Technology, Engineering, and Design with a Graphic Communication concentration and minoring in Spanish. Previously, Asia served as a Summer Conference Assistant during the summer of 2014, Summer Conference Administrative Coordinator during the summers of 2015 and 2016. Throughout the school year, Asia works as a Student Ambassador for University Housing and as an Administrative Coordinator assisting Conference Services with billing and reconciliation.
Carl Wilkins, II
Carl Wilkins is the graduate assistant for Conference and Guest Services, serving as the liaison for academic year conference programs hosted at Wolf Ridge .He is currently a graduate student in the Masters Of Arts In Liberal Studies program, studying communications, public policy, and museums. He plans to travel and create an environmentally focused nonprofit following graduation. Carl is very excited to work with University Housing to provide the best experience for our clients and guests. When he is not working or studying, Carl participates in myriad activities including travel, DJing, playing sports, and art & design. Carl received his Bachelor of Arts degree from North Carolina State University in Political Science and Environmental Science/Policy.
