Lynne Barbour
Assistant Director for Conference and Guest Services

Lynne Barbour joined the University Housing team in 2007. As the Assistant Director, Lynne’s responsibilities include financial and operational oversight of the Conference and Guest Services office, management of the Campus Life Ambassador Program, as well as student staff recruitment, training and professional development.  Lynne received her Master of Arts degree in Facility Management at NC State in 2011. Her research focused on underutilized campus spaces and bridge options for student-centric services on Centennial Campus. She received her Bachelor of Science in Arts and Communications at Ball State University.


Dylan Morris
Conference and Guest Services Managerdylanmorris2014

Dylan Morris has served in his role as Conference and Guest Services Manager since 2013. His responsibilities include oversight of NC State Guest Housing Operations at Avent Ferry Complex and Wolf Ridge, coordination of housing and auxiliary campus services for both internal and external camp and conference groups, and development of client relationships. He also represents University Housing as a member of the New Student Programs Advisory Committee. Dylan received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Wake Forest University and has spent his professional career as an advocate for special events within the Raleigh community.


Bailey Bond
Summer Conference Director

Bailey Bond is serving as the Summer Conference Director for Wolf Village and Wolf Ridge. Bailey received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and is currently working on her Masters of Science in Education at that same institution. She is very excited to be working on NC State’s campus this summer and getting to spend some of her downtime exploring Raleigh. When not working or studying, Bailey enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants.


Kristina Gallagher
Summer Conference Director

Kristina Gallagher graduated from Virginia Tech in 2016 and is currently working on her Masters degree in College Student Personnel Administration at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. Kristina has a passion for helping students get back on track after they experience bumps in the road toward their dreams. She loves to stay active through running, walking, weight-lifting, and….anything fitness related you can think of! She hopes her career path eventually leads her towards being a Dean of Students. Kristina is incredibly excited to gain experience working in conference and guest services with the student staff and conference guests!


Kevin Hildner
Administrative Coordinator

Kevin is a rising junior in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in ComputerProgramming at NC State. After serving as a Summer Conference Assistant during the Summer of 2016, Kevin is excited to be back with Conference Services again this season. During the year Kevin works as an assistant mechanic at Inside Out Sports triathlon store, and serves as the philanthropy chair for Sigma Phi Epsilon.


Kalyn Johnson
Summer Activities Director

Kalyn is an undergraduate senior English major concentrating in Professional Writing and minoring in Creative Writing at Western Kentucky University. Kalyn has been heavily involved in housing under WKU’s extended orientation program called M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan. She is currently the co-logistics chair for M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan and a member of the Big Red Chapter National Residence Hall Honorary. In her free time, Kalyn enjoys writing poetry, painting canvases and serving her community.


Asia Serrano
Administrative Coordinator

Asia Serrano is a recent graduate of North Carolina State University, receiving a degree in Technology, Engineering, and Design with a Graphic Communication concentration. Previously, Asia served as a Summer Conference Assistant during the summer of 2014 and as a Summer Conference Administrative Coordinator during the summers of 2015 and 2016. Throughout her undergrad, Asia worked as a Student Ambassador for University Housing and as an Administrative Coordinator assisting Conference Services with billing and reconciliation. Asia enjoys video games, movies, and sports in her spare time.


Jacob Sparks
Summer Conference Director

Jacob Sparks is the Summer Conferences Director for West Campus and SONC. Currently Jacob is a master’s student in the Higher Education Administration program at NC State, where during the academic year he works as the Lee Hall Residence Director for University Housing. Jacob has worked with housing in many capacities during his undergrad at University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, and hopes to continue his time in housing after graduation. In his free time, Jacob loves to rollerblade, play volleyball and soccer, and explore downtown Raleigh.


Valerie St Juste
Summer Conference Director

Valerie is the Summer Conference Director for Central Campus (Bowen, Turlington, Alexander, and Wood) at NC State. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science degree in Higher Education Administration at Florida International University. In her free time, Valerie enjoys traveling, running, attending live music events and spending time with her family and friends. Valerie is especially excited to serve the guests at NC State with outstanding customer service and genuine positivity. Valerie’s highest priority this summer is ensuring each client/guest has a positive experience at NC State. She is also excited build lasting professional relationships with student staff and the leadership team.
