  • Residence hall agreements are for a full academic year (fall and spring terms) and billed per semester
  • All residence halls are closed during Thanksgiving (Wednesday through Friday), Winter and Spring Breaks
  • All residence hall double rooms cost the same except the double efficiency room in Avent Ferry which includes a kitchenette
  • Additional costs are assessed for single and efficiency rooms
  • Residence hall costs include a furnished room, microwave and micro-fridge, air conditioning, all utilities and laundry
  • High-speed internet is required and charged separately through OIT (ResNet) $140 per semester per person.
  • Cable TV is optional and charged separately through OIT. $192.50 per semester per room.

* Double Room Buyout Option: (when space permits) Non-first-year students assigned to a double occupancy room without a roommate may elect to purchase the vacant bed as a private room. The vacant bed will then be removed from our inventory and a roommate will not be assigned. The cost for the private room buyout is 30% per term and may be prorated. Students agreeing to the fall buyout are automatically charged for the spring term.  The private room buyout is only available for students without an assigned roommate. An individual student may not move into a vacant room and purchase the room as a private.
