Summer 2017 Housing

The summer housing application for Maymester and summer session I is currently open on MyPack Portal.

Summer session II and summer START housing application opens on Tuesday, May 16 at 9:00 am. [add to my calendar]

Summer Housing Basics

  • Apply for summer housing through MyPack Portal. Maymester and summer session I housing applications opened March 14, 2017 at 9 am. Summer session II housing applications open May 16, 2017 at 9 am.
  • To submit a housing application, first, log into MyPack Portal, then click on Student Self Services. From the drop down menus, choose Campus Living and Current Residents (for students currently living on campus) or Prospective Residents (for students currently living off campus). Then click on the housing application link. Select a summer term, fill out the housing application and select your space at Wolf Village or Wolf Ridge. Watch the housing application video.

Summer session housing, except for summer START, is held in Wolf Village or Wolf Ridge. Live in one of our four-bedroom apartments with a full kitchen, washer and dryer in each unit. Tour Wolf Village (Timber and Mackenzie Hall) and Wolf Ridge online.

  • You may live on campus for a single session or multiple sessions. Please indicate your preference on the Housing Application.
  • Summer Session Housing, except for Summer START, is held in Wolf Village or Wolf Ridge. Live in one of our four-bedroom apartments with a full kitchen, washer and dryer in each unit.
  • Room assignments are made on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Interim Housing – If you would like to move to your fall assignment after Summer Session II, look for an email from University Housing with all of the information about signing up, dates, costs, etc.
  • Cancellations – For Summer Sessions I and II, students who cancel before the first day of class will be charged $300.00. Students who cancel on or after the first day of class will be charged 50 percent of the remaining agreement costs plus daily charges.

Intern Housing

  • Working in the triangle this summer? Have an internship on campus or the greater Raleigh area? Check out our intern housing. Summer intern housing is best suited for individuals who are not taking classes over the summer but are working in the Raleigh area.  Intern housing is available for any degree-seeking post-secondary student, whether enrolled at NC State or at another college or university.

Summer START Housing

The Summer START program is a partnership between University Housing and Accelerated Summer Academic Programs designed to assist incoming students with the transition from high school to college through five weeks of academic courses and social activities. Summer START provides participants with a solid introduction to the culture of NC State. For more information, visit the Summer START Housing page.
