History
University Housing has a long history at NC State University. We’ve housed students through many eras and decades. From the late 1800s until now, students have lived on campus at NC State.

- 20 residence halls (10 traditional style halls, 8 suite-style halls, 2 hotel-style buildings)
- 4 apartment communities (1 on Centennial Campus, 3 on Main Campus)
- 1 apartment community in Morehead City, N.C.
Activities

- Students living on campus earn higher GPAs than students living off campus.
- Residents participated in more than 2,300 programs in our halls and on campus last year.
