University Housing provides inclusive living and learning experiences through residential education and community engagement.

History

University Housing has a long history at NC State University. We’ve housed students through many eras and decades. From the late 1800s until now, students have lived on campus at NC State.

Facilities

  • Offices: University Housing Central Office: Pullen Hall; University Housing Facilities and Business Services: Lee Hall; University Housing area offices: spread across Main and Centennial campuses
  • Buildings: 
    • Maintain 2.94 million square feet of University Housing facilities, 84,800 square feet of Greek Village facilities, 114,000 square feet of the Division of Academic and Student Affairs facilities
    • 20 residence halls (10 traditional style halls, 8 suite-style halls, 2 hotel-style buildings)
    • 4 apartment communities (1 on Centennial Campus, 3 on Main Campus)
    • 1 apartment community in Morehead City, N.C.

Activities

  • 15 Living and Learning Villages
  • Students living on campus earn higher GPAs than students living off campus.
  • Residents participated in more than 2,300 programs in our halls and on campus last year.
