Room Selection occurs each spring semester and allows current residents/students the opportunity to return to University Housing for the following school year. Learn more about the room selection process and timeline at go.ncsu.edu/roomselection.

Students who have completed a room selection application will have the option to select a space based on the following criteria:

• Feb. 11, 2026: Graduate Room Selection
• Feb. 12, 2026: Living and Learning Village Selection
• Feb. 13, 2026: Returning Wolf Ridge resident Room Selection
• Feb. 16-17, 2026: Option 1 – Current residents with less than 61 credits and current first-year students
• Feb. 18, 2026: Option 2 – Current residents with less than 92 credits
• Feb. 19, 2026: Option 3 – Current residents with more than 92 credits
• Feb. 20, 2026: Option 4 – Open Selection – students without roommates – roommate group restriction removed
