Syme Hall

Syme Residence Hall NC State University

Built in 1916 and originally called South Dorm, Syme Residence Hall was expanded in 1924 and renamed in honor of George Frederick Syme, class of 1898. Today, Syme Hall is a vibrant part of our history and has been home to over 20,000 students along the way. Current students enjoy central air conditioning, wireless internet, fire alarms and sprinkler systems.
